Courses Offered
At present the campus at Puranattukara offers the courses of Prak Sastri (Intermediate), Sastri(B.A) and Acharya (MA) in the disciplines of Vedanta, Sahitya, Vyakarana, Jyotisha and Nyaya.ITEP(Integrated Teacher Education Programme)(BA B.Ed), Siksha Sastri (B.Ed), Diploma in Yoga and Ayurveda Sahitya(DYAS), PG Diploma in Yogic Science, One-Year Diploma Course In Keraliya Tantra Shastra and Doctoral research Vidya Varidhi(Ph.D.) is also offered.
The campus offers modern subjects such as History, English, Malayalam, Computer Science and Environmental Studies for equipping the students with multi-faceted talent.
Prak Sastri (Intermediate)
Sansthan has introduced a buffer course, called Prak-Sastri , in which a student, who has passed class X of a Board Examination and has no previous background of Sanskrit, may be admitted. This is a two year course (XI & XII). »
Sastri ( Bachelor of Arts /B.A.)
Student who has passed either Uttar Madhyama or Prak–Sastri (Plus-Two) or equivalent examination with Sanskrit may be admitted to Sastri , which is a four-year course. »
Siksha Sastri ( Bachelor of Education/B.Ed)
A student who has passed either Sastri or equivalent examination with Sanskrit may be admitted to Siksha Sastri , which is a two year course. »
Acharya (Master of Arts/M.A.)
A student who has passed Sastri or B.A. with Sanskrit may be admitted to Acharya, which corresponds to M.A., but is restricted to specialization in a particular sastra. »
VidyaVaridhi (Ph.D )
A student who has passed Acharya or equivalent examination with Sanskrit may be admitted to Vidya Varidhi , This is equivalent to Ph.D. »
